Australian data visualization and analytics company, The Datalabs Agency, has announced its expansion into the U.S. market, opening an office in Los Angeles in early September.
According to its Managing Director, Otto Ottinger, entering the American market is a no-brainer.
“Increasingly, the creative data design work that we do here in Australia is being picked up by the global headquarters back in the States,” said Otto Ottinger.
“We’re just starting to see the strategic awakening, the realisation that data visualization is a competitive advantage. Everybody needs better design for their data and help with their analytics.”
“We’ve seen a lot of badly designed reports and business dashboards,” said Otto. “We want share our vision of beautifying data, making it intuitively understood.”
“We’re helping clients in every industry, working with marketing, sales, operations, HR, and finance data. No one thinks about dashboards, interactive data tools, and visual analytics like we do, so the signs are good for us in the larger U.S. market.”
The expansion comes hot on the heels of the successful U.S. launch of Curated Content, The Datalabs Agency’s parent brand in June.
Adam Wiggins has been promoted to the role of Associate Director, North America to lead the company in the U.S.
